When conducting instrument transformer testing to ensure the quality, it is necessary to test with the same impedance (burden) as the impedance connected to the secondary of the transformer in the actual usage environment.
Model DAC-PBV-8 is a 50VA electronic burden designed for testing instrument voltage transformer (VT).
By simply inputting values for a burden VA and a burden power factor with the numeric keys, a specific burden setting will be completed.
A wide range of testing voltage up to 200% of the rating is available, and the actual load can be expanded up to 500VA with option expansion units.

Features

● Programmable burden used for voltage error testing in accordance with IEC 61869-3 (IEC 60044-2).
● Testing voltage can be varied over a wide range: 2 % to 200% of the rated secondary voltage.
● Burdens from 0 to 50VA are available standalone, and maximum of 500VA in steps of 1VA is available with optional electronic burdens.
● USB and GP-IB Interfaces are provided.
● Test conditions can be easily configured: the maximum of 100 test parameters (rating, burden, power factor and lead wire compensation) are programmable.
